Abstract:

Cryptic species of Aspergilli are increasingly reported as causative agents of invasive disease. However, the clinical relevance of their identification is not fully understood. The epidemiology of cryptic Aspergilli, how they may be able to be identified clinically, and what may make them clinically relevant will be discussed.
