Martin Hoenigl

Martin Hoenigl, M.D., is Professor for Translational Mycology at the Division of Infectious Diseases, Medical University of Graz, Austria. Before his current appointment he has been an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Division of Infectious Diseases and Global Public Health at the University of California San Diego. He has particular expertise in conducting research on clinical mycology, including fungal diagnostics, host-fungal pathogen interactions, and pharmacology of antifungal drugs.
