Arunaloke Chakrabarti is Director of the Doodhadhari Burfani Hospital and Research Institute in Haridwar, India. He is also the Ex-Head and Professor of the Department of Medical Microbiology of the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh, India, where he was also in charge of the Center of Advance Research in Medical Mycology, World Health Organization Collaborating Center for Reference and Research of Fungi of Medical Importance, and the National Culture Collection of Pathogenic Fungi. He is Past President of the International Society for Human and Animal Mycology (ISHAM).
